Partnership Opportunities

1976 PA-32R-300 Piper Lance, 25%

A member is retiring in a pilot partnership owning a 1976 Piper Lance, 300 HP based at KHPN, and he seeking to sell his 25% share.

The plane is in great maintenance conditions; last annual completed in February; engine just overhauled.

Airframe TT is 5849h.

Engine time: 1750h SNEW; <15h SMOH.

Engine: IO-540-K1G5D, normally aspirated. Rated 300HP @ 2700 RPM.

155kt cruise.

17,000 ft realistic cruise altitude.

Tank capacity is 98 gallons, 94 usable. Realistic range 1,000 NM.

1,399 lbs useful load – close to the highest useful load you can get with a piston single.

Propeller: Hartzell HC-C2YK-1F

VS0 61 knots.

Inflatable door seals.

Tie down is at Million Air, east side of the ramp.

Plane is owned via a corporation; the incoming member would purchase the share from the outgoing one.

Price: negotiated directly with the outgoing member. Expect asking price to be approximately 1/4 of the market value of a contemporaneous Lance with similar avionics and an engine just overhauled.

Each member owns one share; usual partnership operating agreement terms; expect no surprises.

Applicants

We are happy to examine pilot applicants with any level of experience, but applicants without an HP endorsement, a complex endorsement and no prior PA32R time will have to build time in type (in the partnership, with an instructor) before they can satisfy insurance requirements.

A CFI/CFII is available in the partnership with wide open schedule to help you:

  • gain your complex and high-performance endorsement
  • build experience as necessary to satisfy insurance requirements.
